Questions? You're in the right place.
Each NomaSé piece has its own story and sometimes its own unique characteristics. Here you'll find answers to the most frequently asked questions about our collections, sizing, care, delivery, and returns.
Where are NomaSé parts manufactured?
Where are NomaSé parts manufactured?
Our first collections come to life in India, a country whose textile expertise, colors, and craftsmanship are at the heart of NomaSé's history.
We select our pieces and work with workshops and artisans met locally, favoring traditional techniques such as Block Print, Phulkari, and Kantha.
To discover their history and the techniques behind our collections, visit our Savoir-faire page.
Why do some parts have small irregularities?
Why do some parts have small irregularities?
Because that's also what makes them beautiful.
A hand-printed Block Print can show a slight variation in pattern or color. A Phulkari embroidery may not be perfectly regular. A Kantha piece made from ancient textiles may bear the traces of its first life.
These particularities are not sought out as defects: they are inherent in certain artisanal processes or in the use of ancient textiles and contribute to the unique character of each piece.
When we find a more significant particularity on a piece, we do our best to point it out on its product page.
How do I choose the size of my kimono?
How do I choose the size of my kimono?
That depends on the collection.
Our Jaipur kimonos are one-size-fits-all and their loose fit generally suits sizes US 2 to 14.
For other collections, dimensions and sizing information are specified directly on each product page.
Because a garment is more than just a size, we also indicate the length and cut of each model as much as possible to help you visualize it.
I'm short / tall: how do I know what length to choose?
I'm short / tall: how do I know what length to choose?
Our collections offer different lengths and cuts depending on the model.
On each product page, you will find the garment's dimensions as well as, where relevant, the size of the model photographed. This allows for a better visualization of how the piece drapes.
Still hesitating? Write to us at contact@maisonnomase.fr. We will gladly help you choose.
How do I care for my NomaSé piece?
How do I care for my NomaSé piece?
Care instructions may vary depending on the material and technique used.
Always refer to the information on the product page and on your item's label.
For the most delicate items, embroidered, silk, or made from antique textiles, we recommend special attention and, when indicated, hand washing.
Taking care of your item also extends its story.
Will unique pieces be restocked?
Will unique pieces be restocked?
By definition, a unique piece cannot be replicated identically.
Some collections may return with new patterns or colors, while other pieces will only exist as single editions.
Therefore, if a piece particularly appeals to you, don't necessarily wait for its return.
How often do you release new pieces?
