Rani plays with contrasts.

Against its deep, almost black background, fuchsia, red, orange, and golden floral embroideries burst forth. More discreet botanical touches run through the fabric, adding movement to the whole.

And then the unexpected appears: an intensely colored turquoise pocket, also embroidered, deliberately disrupting the harmony of the piece. It is precisely this contrast that gives Rani its unique character.

Its name means "queen" in Hindi. A bold piece, for those who don't need to choose between elegance and color.

Three lengths, three styles

Short, 70 cm. Worn short, Rani becomes a true embroidered jacket. With jeans, black pants, or a solid-colored dress, this version immediately adds character without dominating the entire silhouette. In the photographs, Céline is 1.66m tall and is wearing the Short version.

Signature, 92 cm. The signature silhouette of the Phulkari NomaSé collection. An intermediate length that gives more prominence to the embroidery while maintaining an easy-to-wear look.

Long, 114 cm. The most spectacular version. Worn long, Rani becomes a centerpiece: a deep and colorful silhouette that can simply be draped over a monochrome outfit.

Rani loves simplicity.

Jeans and a black top, like here. Ecru trousers to create more contrast. A black dress for an evening out.

A few gold pieces of jewellery are enough. The embroidery does the rest.

The word Phulkari literally means "flower work." Originating from Punjab, this textile tradition is deeply intertwined with embroidery, floral motifs, and color.

The embroideries on your Phulkari are delicate and require special care to preserve their texture and color intensity.

Hand wash recommended, in cold or lukewarm water.
Use a mild detergent.
Do not soak.
Do not use bleach or whitening agents.
Gentle spin, do not wring.
Natural drying flat or on a hanger.
Avoid direct and prolonged exposure to sunlight during drying.
Tumble drying not recommended.
Gentle ironing on the reverse side if necessary.

NomaSé Tip: your Phulkari does not need to be washed after every use. Between wears, simply air it out to preserve the cotton, colors, and beauty of its embroideries for longer.
